Denial Of Service.

hackers cartoons 299x300 Denial Of Service attacks On Twitter

You might be too new to this, but many of this type of attacks are becoming common and the most common target for this is Twitter. So what actually is this attack? In simple terms we can say that making false service requests just to de stabilize the system. For example we are using the help line to get help and when we do that constantly without any need of a help we create trouble and would block another user who is in really need of the service.

This becomes a Denial of service attack when criminals and hackers attacks some services or websites, with too many junk requests from computers that are controlled by the hackers. The rise in the junk requests would throw off the website’s services. Hackers would use main weapons as “botnets” or “zombie” viruses to use the computers at their command. Most of the innocent computers of other people are targeted without their knowledge which helps to target their attacks. Constant request made from different sources would make the server busy and stops responding and make the website down.

Many of the sites do have taken much stronger steps to identify these threats and they are successful, but some goes unprepared for such a cause. If you suspect that your computer is a victim there are some tips that you can identify the computer becomes too slow and stops responding at times to your requests. Best option is to keep your anti virus up to date.
