The popular Facebook networking site has launched its Indian interface which would help the members in the region to connect in their own native language. The language packs that are included are Hindi, Malayalam, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Bengali. Members can opt for this at the homepage options tab. Facebook does not allow for the transliteration or copying of the English script into any other online chats or messages. The fast growing network would bring more native Indian users to their present user base of 200 million. Facebook also adds up with 40 translations on the site too. Most of the young users in India rely on Orkut and Facebook to convey any sorts of in formations and social causes.
